I first started playing Delta Force 2...along time ago...I was completely addicted to the game...a squad named D.O.W. (Dogs of War) was formed...this squad was run by a chap named Snoopdog, & myself Maddogg.
Sadly I fazed out of playing the game for a while....I noticed to my horror that D.O.W. were no more...reason being that there is a D.O.W. in U.S.A. and the squad of D.O.W.(England) had been changed to E.W.D. (English War Dogs). I suppose this also being so E.W.D. could be an Novalogic Official Squad.
Snoopdog was still in command of this squad....but now there were people in the squad I did not know...and also they had a council, and ranks.
I asked Snoopdog if I could rejoin the squad....but this meant me starting at the bottom...as a private...well i had to start somewhere I suppose so why not at the bottom...I had no tryouts to achieve...as old members of D.O.W. got a free pass as to say.
So I joined E.W.D. But! I have changed my name now to MaddoggUK as there are other maddog's out there...
I have seen people come and people go...good friends I have got to know...and I have also been on the council of this GREAT! squad....but sadly resigned only after a few months...but still playing in the squad.
There were & are other good squads out there E.S.L.(European Stealth Legion) also *uca* (UKCyberAssassins) just to mention a few...which were Allies to E.W.D.
Well! Sadly E.W.D. is now history.
E.W.D. played Delta Force 2 for FUN! it,wasn't a heavy squad as to say we didn't take it as serious as other squads...but there as to be a limit to everything I suppose...that is why we had rules...and these rules must be abided by or there would be no order as to speak in the squad. If these rules were broken...the person or persons were dealt with accordingly. BUT! the main thing is to have FUN!.
After leaving E.W.D. I was playing in no squad at all, but after a few month's decided to go for tryout with *uca*, I was accepted into the squad, and have now been in this squad for 5yrs!
*uca* now play Battlefield 1942, Battlefield 2, Cod4 MW, & Codw@w, and occasionally RaceDriver Grid.
